Uncle Jack`s Steakhouse in Bayside

Came in at 630pm on a Sunday night. We were seated immediately. A nice gentleman with a "sir" mustache served us. He was very professional and attentive throughout.Ordered a lettuce salad for an appetizer. It was served with onions, bacon chunks and bluecheese dressing. If you want another dressing, specify when you order.Also ordered were porterhouse for two cooked medium, creamed spinach, and sauteed mushrooms. The steak was cooked slightly rare for my taste but it made the steak even softer and juicier. And it had a rich flavor from start to finish. Creamed spinach was excellent, very flavorful. Better than Peter Luger's IMO. Sauteed mushrooms were good as well.Never had heard of Uncle Jack's and this was a pleasant surprise. An appetizer, porterhouse for two, two side dish, and 3 drinks came out to $260 including tips. Pricier than Peter Luger's, but I would say it is worth it. Highly recommended and would definitely come back.

Service was very good, Sergio, our server was polite and very humble.Price to food i would say fair.They will charge you a $4.99 credit or debit card fee if you do not pay cash, even if on the check it says a $2.99 fee. I mean $2 is nothing, you tip the valet more but just the principle of, is this charge but we charge u more, seems sneaky. Not cool. My filet mignon was ok-ish, my wife"s burger was so so, she ate half, i tries it and it was very "groundy" if that makes sense. Probably whatever meat they have leftover they grind it and make burgers from it.Scallop special was good, but , 3 pcs with a ton of cauliflower and 2 slices of greasy bacon doesn't justify $34. Overall just ok. I would pay more money without any problem but give me quality food for it if i pay top money.

Celebrating my Husband' birthday here was perfect. He loves the place. The menu is exquisite. The joy in your mouth until the last bite is unbelievable. Great drinks and desserts. Loved our waiter, very nice and polite, always being sure that we were happy. Our friends were very happy with the restaurant, the food, the drinks, the service. Great night. Thank you. Mrs. L. Excellent food and service!

Celebrated my son's birthday, graduation, going to the army here. The food excellent , the service excellent, attention excellent. As a family of color in a restaurant where we were the only ones at that time I was truly impressed. They did everything to make this an occasion we'd remember and were very personable. This place is pricey but the experience and food was well worth i . I would definitely go back again.

Heard that this place wasn't that good from many people beforehand. Only came because it was my friend's birthday. The service was good and attentive for a large party of 14 of us. Many people at the table got the porterhouse for 2. In my sampling of it, it was pretty good. Along with my other friend, we made the unfortunate mistake of ordering the bone in ribeye. For $75 "dry age" it was the most flavorless rubbery thing I've eaten. Ordered medium rare which was cooked prefectly, however it was tough, chewy with a giant pool of liquid at the base of the plate. Which almost leads me to believe it was frozen and the thawed out moisture build up resulted in the chewyness. For this price, which is more than Manhattan steak houses it was an utter rip off. Save your money and go to outback. They actually have a better steak.

The meals and service were beyond our expectations. I really loved the ambience of this place. Wonderful place to take my family out for dinner.

Porter house steak for 2 never let's me down. Great service as well. Definitely one of my favorite steak houses in queens.

This spot provides first-rate service and yummy food. The best place in town. The meals served quick and the prices were economical. I recommend this place.

I visit this spot a lot since I work right next to it. I love how the service is always fantastic and they keep the place clean at all times. Prices are fair and they serve generous portions.

This spot obviously knows how to treat their customers. Consistently with a friendly attitude. The food is affordably priced, regularly flavorful and clean.

Many Thanks To Bill, I came here for Valentines Day dinner. We had a wonderful experience. The food was excellent even though the place was packed our meal was well paced and we never felt rushed. I enjoyed a ny strip steak sandwich and my GF had the filet mignon. Of course, the Blue Moon was ICE cold. I would highly recommend Uncle Jack's. Be sure to make a reservation! They are usually busy

Old school steakhouse with very unexpected location and prices. Long dark tunnel style place with long bar counter along. The food is something between good and average, steaks is just ok, and the desserts even worst. Pretty disappointed by the restaurant but there is no place like that around anyway. The very best part of the place was staff - bartender and waiter. Really nice and pretty cool service.

I tried this place before with a friend and I am obsessed ever since. I like the excellent atmosphere and delightful dishes and drinks. Kudos.

Amazing to say the least. The only competition to PL's and Tellers in my opinion.

Service is going down hill, portions are smaller, and they wanted to charge a credit card processing fee. Credit card processing fees is a fancy word for surcharges for use of a credit card. This practice is illegal in 10 states and NY is one of them. Shame on you.

Steaks were heaven sent and delicious!!! Steamed asparagus with cheese and the garlic mashed potatos divine. Corn brulet was so delectable it was almost an out of body experience for our pallets!!! Service is good and you get what you pay for here!! My wife & I really enjoyed!!! Tiramisu dessert was superb and the coffee strong just as we like it.

Been here with wife and my little daughter. Had a great time. Place is small and very very nice. Food was delicious!

The food and service is wonderful

I got sick at this place and after I did I took a look in the back of the house and man it was nasty. One of the dirtiest kitchens I have seen in my life coming from a chef.

Good old steakhouse in Bayside, Queens. You can tell the place is a classic local restaurant by its aged look and the smell. The steak is why we were here , and we are satisfied 😀

Its food was delicious and their service was good. Especially, lobster and avocado salad was so great. Want to visit again someday.

I took my husband there for his birthday what an amazing place the staff were so attentive and friendly I will definitely be visiting again we had an wonderful time there last night and I also surprised my husband with the gender of of baby the staff showed us so much love and treated us like family❤️ Uncle jacks steakhouse is definitely a family restaurant

Best yellow fin tuna I have every had. STAY AWAY FROM NY CHEESECAKE! The waiter was kind enough to take our 3 orders off our bill.

Excellent food and service

This place is incredible. Have been here many times and always a large group (8+ people) and the service and food is always top notch. Pictured is the Fred Flintstone rib chop and it was amazing. All the apps, sides and desserts were and always are on point. The Faust wine pairs perfectly with a nice steak dinner. The seafood tower is a must. That lobster and those shrimp are top notch. The service is always attentive and there for whatever we need. Our host, Kosta I believe is his name, is so professional and friendly. He legit has become a friend of ours from all the years of going there and he always does the right thing by us. The banana creme dessert (don't remember exactly what it's called) is delicious and even being stuffed from dinner you can't help but eat it. Will continue to take the hour drive out to queens a few times a year because the experience as a whole is A+.

I celebrated my birthday today in this excellent restaurant. happy to tell that we had a cool evening and the venue was surely one of the reasons for this happy gathering. The crew cooperated in a very nice way, the food was yummy and my friends were so thrilled. We shall definitely visit again for more joyful events. Thank you very much.

I went here for brunch with a couple of friends. I had the Eggs Benedict and it was delicious. I had a bite of pancakes also. It was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Can't go wrong if you go here for brunch.

This place is awesome and broad, the food was delicious and the prices were very economical. quick, efficient service and very amiable staff. I recommend this place.

I went for Sunday brunch with some friends and it was nothing short of amazing! The price fix menu is a great deal- bottomless mimosas, bellinis or Bloody Mary's! The buttermilk biscuits were to die for. I had the French toast bread pudding while my boyfriend had the short rib hash. My friend ordered the baked eggs ranchero. We were all so impressed and happy with our orders! The chicken sausage & bacon side dishes were also incredible! Service and drinks were great. I'll definitely be back!

If you want a great steak and don't mind paying for it best place to go

Great service for sure!! But I'd rather go to Peter Luger's not far away, similar pricing but less quality of steak in my humble opinion. But again on point service. Hence the extra star.
